Denis Lee is Professor Emeritus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  He served on the faculty for over 30 years as Professor of Art and Design and Professor of Postgraduate Medicine.  His interests in biology and art led him into the field of Medical and Scientific Illustration.  He served as Director of the Graduate Program in Medical Illustration at Michigan.

Retirement has afforded Professor Lee the luxury of painting and sculpting subjects most interesting to him.  His palette consists, primarily of orange and blue pigments.  His average size painting is 24″ x 30″.  The price of his oil paintings range from $1200.00 to $3000.00.

Professor Lee has won numerous awards for his artwork and sculpture and has been a guest on the Today Show and The Donahue Show as well as being featured in People Magazine, Newsweek, and National Geographic Magazine.

He has now completed a series of oil paintings, entitled “Park Lake Secrets”, which may be viewed on this website.  The oil paintings represent only a portion of his art work.
